            About the Clinician

            Mr. Eddie B. Creer, Jr.

Mr. Eddie B. Creer, Jr. is an experienced vocal and choral director and a committed Christian. He is a home-schooling father and husband who lives in Salina, KS with his family. He is involved in full-time choral activities as Director of Vocal Music at Salina High School South where he has served since 1985.

Mr. Creer has led Choral Festivals and is greatly admired and respected by his students and fellow teachers. He brings many years of experience to the Golden Belt Festival and we are very honored to have Mr. Creer lead us this year.

He received his Bachelors in Music Education from Oklahoma State University in 1981 and his Masters in Music Education in 1994 from Wichita State University.

Mr. Creer and his wife Velda, along with their three home-educated children Michaela (19), Joshua (17) and Grace (12) attend First Covenant Church in Salina for the last 25 years. Mr. and Mrs. Creer are active in various teaching and other leadership ministries where they selflessly serve their Lord Jesus Christ. Michaela and Joshua have sung in the Golden Belt Festival for several years.

Finally and most importantly, Mr. Creer became a Christian at a summer camp in Arkansas in 1972. He has been greatly influenced in his Christian walk by Mr. Bill Bright and Mr. Bill Gothard. Join us in welcoming Mr. Eddie B. Creer, Jr. to the Golden Belt family!
